Berkshire Gas recently completed the construction of a new natural gas pipeline to serve the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  The pipeline will replace an old, coal fired facility which used 40,000 tons of coal every year.  The CO2 savings from this project are equivalent to taking 10,000 cars off the road.
